Stonehaven Studios is proud to present our 2nd Annual Afrofuturist Art Fairs, expanding into a month-long community arts showcase taking place across Burbank, Inglewood , and Downtown L.A. in celebration of Juneteenth.
In lieu of a traditional gala, our FREE Afrofuturist Art Fair has become our foundational programming at Stonehaven, The AAF is partly inspired by WACO's Wearable Art Gala, Black On The Block, the AfroPunk festival, and the AfroAnimation Summit— married under a philosophical framework of Sankofa: Honoring the past, and Improving the future.
This year, we are expanding our vision to make the even more accessible and impactful. Every donation helps us cover essential costs like accessibility accommodations, artist stipends, books, catering, venue rentals, and more.
By supporting our fundraiser, you are helping us create a vibrant, inclusive space where creativity and community thrive. Rooted in the principles of Sankofa, Afrofuturism's cultural aesthetics braid the intersections of art, science, and technology. These immersive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences invite everyone into a philosophy that marries artistry with social progress.
